ORLY RAVID

Raised in Manhattan and now living in Los Angeles, Orly has worked in the entertainment industry for over 20 years and is the founder and co-Executive Director of the film non-profit The Film Collaborative (TFC).

​

Previously Of Counsel at Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp LLP (MSK) and Senior Counsel at Tubi, Orly's experience includes business affairs, distribution, sales/licensing, development/production, and festival programming.

​

As Associate Dean of  Southwestern Law School's Entertainment and Media Law Institute Orly also teaches entertainment transactions negotiation and drafting.

​

Orly has spoken on panels or presented at the American Film Market, Sundance Film Festival, Doc NYC, Cannes Film Festival, IDFA, Outfest Los Angeles, Sheffield Doc/Fest, SXSW, Columbia University Film School, UCLA, USC, to name a few.  

 

Orly represents writers, directors, producers, production companies, influencers, and other content creators and collaborators.

Aleeza Marashlian

ALEEZA MARASHLIAN

Coming from an entertainment litigation practice, Aleeza brings a pragmatic approach to serving transactional clients that combines her working knowledge of potential liabilities and genuine desire to support the arts.

 

Aleeza began her career as an attorney after years of independent filmmaking, and leans on that experience to foresee her clients’ legal needs. Her experience representing plaintiffs and defendants in entertainment industry breach of contract, copyright infringement, defamation, and right of privacy and publicity suits informs her transactional practice, protecting the interests of all sides of the transaction while shepherding her clients' agreements to the finish line.
